CBRE has announced the appointment of Katarína Brydone as Head of Investment Properties of CBRE in the Czech Republic effective 1 June 2020. Katarína Brydone succeeds Chris Sheils who spent four successful years in this position and has taken the decision to leave the business following Clare Sheils’ promotion to Managing Director of CBRE Czech Republic.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, Immofinanz has decided to reschedule the 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was originally planned for 22 May 2020. The AGM will now be held on 1 October 2020 in Vienna. This change will also result in the postponement of the resolution on the use of profit for 2019 and a dividend payment.

Airbnb has announced further actions to support users through the COVID-19 crisis. Guests who have reservations made before March 14 that begins anytime on or before May 31, can cancel the reservation and get a full refund or a travel credit if they are impacted by COVID-19 and can’t travel. The accommodation platform will also pay $250 million to hosts to help cover the cost of COVID-19 cancellations.

He joined Diófa Asset Management in 2019 as portfolio manager responsible for real estate investment funds. As head of real estate at Diófa Asset Management, his responsibilities include the coordination of the asset management, fund management, leasing and investment management operations of the company. Bence aims to further expand the core real estate portfolios of Diófa, to refine the asset and fund management systems of the company and intends to ensure stable and predictable return levels towards the retail and institutional investors of the funds. In addition, he intends to launch new funds and investment products together with the Diófa team

NEPI Rockcastle is donating €150,000 to the International Red Cross Organization aimed for supporting the efforts of preventing the spread of COVID-19. The amount of money will be distributed according to the current medical needs and will be used for the purchase of disinfectant substances or items vital in slowing the spread of the virus. Public awareness campaigns will also be supported.

Oliver Schumy, the CEO of Immofinanz AG, is leaving the Company as member of the Executive Board on 18 March 2020. The premature termination is based on mutual agreement due to personal reasons. As of 19 March 2020, the Executive Board of the Company is thus composed of the members Dietmar Reindl and Stefan Schönauer, who will continue all agendas.

Globalworth announced changes to the Company's Board of Directors and an update regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. Ioannis Papalekas, the Founder, is stepping down from the Board of Directors of Globalworth but will remain as CEO. Dimitris Raptis, the current Chief Investment Officer and Deputy CEO, has been appointed co-CEO.
