In January 2021, Antoine Grolin, Chairman of Ceetrus and Founding Chairman of Nodi, announced the creation of a new mixed-use property management and development services company, Nhood. The change affects ten countries, including Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia and Ukraine in CEE. The reason for setting up the new company is twofold. On the one hand, the separation of the real estate assets of Ceetrus Property and, on the other hand, the merging of the employees of Ceetrus and Nodi under a unified brand name.

JSE-listed EPP, the largest owner of shopping centres in Poland, announces the appointment of Agata Sekuła as the company’s Executive Management Team Member responsible for sales and acquisitions. Agata will join EPP from 1 March 2021 and be responsible for executing the EPP’s divestment and investment plans, with particular focus on acquiring institutional co-investors for EPP’s retail portfolio.

CPI Property Group has sold part of its Czech facility management business to M2C, which provides security, maintenance and cleaning services. Employees from the existing facility management division will be transferred to M2C.

Globalworth, the leading office investor in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), announces the appointment of Marian Popa as Managing Director for Romania with effect from 1st March 2021. As Managing Director, Marian Popa will be responsible for managing the company’s activities in Romania, focusing on operational, administration and business development matters, and will report to Dimitris Raptis, CEO of Globalworth Group.

Savas Gencer has been appointed as investment director at 7R. He has joined the investment team led by Christopher Zeuner and will be responsible for capital raising activities and 7R’s international expansion into new European markets.

Globalworth announces that Dimitris Raptis is appointed sole CEO of the Group. Ioannis Papalekas is stepping down as CEO of the company effective 15th of December 2020.

After a year serving as a Non-Executive Director at 7R, Chris Zeuner has been appointed Chief Investment Officer and board member of the company. In his new role, effective from January 1st, he will be responsible for 7R’s further expansion which includes plans to enter new European markets

Radovan Vítek and Marie Vítek have resigned from CPI Property Group’s Board of Directors and Jonathan Lewis has been co-opted to the Board of Directors. Mr. Lewis is an independent real estate consultant who practised for 40 years as a solicitor, most recently as a partner at international law firm CMS. CPIPG's board now consists of three independent directors (Edward Hughes, Omar Sattar, and Jonathan Lewis) and four members of management (Martin Nemecek, Tomas Salajka, Philippe Magistretti, and Oliver Schlink).

Cushman & Wakefield has entered into a partnership agreement with building technology advisor Future2. The partnership, covering the CEE region, enables Cushman & Wakefield to advance the development of its property management and technical advisory services by adding deep knowledge of digital building systems.
