Prologis has added another 14,000 sqm of warehouse and office buildings to its newest logistics park, Prologis Park Budapest – Sziget II. 

Like years ago, the Polish Private Rental Sector is going through a blooming time as each commercial real estate sector segment. It requires a unification of offers, greater standardization of available space, and self-professionalization. One of the first spectacular transactions involving the PRS was in 2016 and the purchase of 72 apartments in the Złota 44 building in Warsaw by the German investment fund Catella Residential Investment Management. At the end of September 2022, this segment is formed by an offer of more than 8,500 apartments for rent spread across Poland's largest cities. The prospects for the development of the market remain very high, and it is mainly favored by market conditions and the structure of the residential sector in Poland. AXI IMMO, together with industry experts Inquiry and ThinkCo, presents data for the Polish institutional rental market in a publication, "Development prospects for the PRS market in Poland."

Duna House Group (DHG), the largest real estate agency in the region decided to unify its landing brokerage activity by creating a single brand called Credipass. 

The flow of international capital to Mediterranean countries is still very strong but investors seem reluctant to put more money into the office and retail sectors due to growing economic uncertainties, panellists emphasized in the discussion at the recent CEE Property Forum 2022 in Vienna.

The volume of investments in commercial real estate reached a total value of €368 million in the Czech real estate market in Q3 2022. Most of the investment transactions were mainly in the office and retail segments. Czech investors were the most active investors in this period. Demand for prime real estate is still stronger than what is on offer on the market, Knight Frank said in its report.

Spanish manufacturer of elevator components Savera is now relocating its production facility to the new CTPark Ostrava Poruba. The relocation was facilitated by Colliers.

Investment transactions in Romania’s commercial property sector amounted to €656 million in the first three quarters of 2022, which was up 16.5% compared to the same period of last year, with offices driving deal volumes, according to real estate consultancy JLL Romania. 

Property developer and investor Prime Kapital has announced a new urban regeneration project on a 5.6-hectare plot near the Bega river in Timișoara. 

The second phase of the almost completely contactless Corvin Innovation Campus office building developed by Hungarian firm Futureal has reached its highest point. This part provides 14,310 sqm of office space, and it has been developed according to the energy-cost-sensitive tenants’ needs. 

Property developer AFI Europe aims to obtain by 2025 the LEED Zero Carbon certification for all ongoing office projects, and also for all future AFI Europe’s projects targeted to be developed in the future in Romania.
