CBRE has analysed the Czech commercial real estate market in detail and estimates that the next six months of this year will be as strong as the first six months of the year, which hit the €1.15 billion mark. By the end of the year, according to CBRE, the €2 billion level should be reached, similar to last year and the year before.

Revetas Capital has announced that since the beginning of 2022, 14 lease transactions have been secured in the Buma Square office complex in Kraków, Poland, with a total area of 4,512 sqm, consisting of new leases, extensions and renewals, of which 416 sqm represent new leases.

Hillwood Polska has started the construction of a new logistics centre in the Górna district of Łódź. The complex, which is scheduled to come into use in Q3 2023, will comprise more than 97,000 sqm of warehouse space.

French investment firm FREY has acquired Park Handlowy Matarnia in Gdańsk from Ingka Centres for €105 million. This is FREY’s first acquisition in Poland.

Panattoni built and is leasing a new, custom-fit facility to Corning Incorporated, a manufacturer of low-loss optical fibre. The facility is located in Mszczonów, a city near Warsaw, and is more than 20,000 sqm. It was customized to meet Corning’s specific manufacturing requirements for low-loss optical fibre production and to meet demand for high-speed connectivity in Europe and surrounding regions.

Penta Real Estate has bought 4.5 hectares of the land in Bratislava Nové Město district. The developer became the owner of this property in the bankruptcy proceeding in August this year. The price of the transaction was not published, the web portal TRENDreality.sk reports.

Hungary's B+N Referencia Zrt. has acquired Bulgarian facility management company i-Facility EOOD. With this new subsidiary, the company is now present in 7 countries in Central Europe. 

Genesis Property is investing €50 million in YUNITY Park, a mixed-use project in Bucharest with co-working and co-living components. The vacancy rate of the Prague Office market has not changed in Q2 2022 and remained at the same value as in the previous quarter. Nevertheless, the rents and service fees continue to rise and the volume of net take-up is the highest since the end of 2019, says Colliers.
