Slovak developer Corwin has sold the Blumental office centre in Bratislava to Czech real estate fund ZFP realitní fond. With more than 21,000 sqm of lettable area, it is one of the largest Bratislava office transactions of 2022. The price of the acquisition has not been disclosed.

CPI Property Group (CPIPG) has become the owner of approximately 79.2% of the shares of the Austrian company S Immo. CPIPG, in its mandatory takeover offer, offered to buy out the shares of S Immo for €23.50 per share. This offer, available until August 12, 2022, was taken up by holders of approximately 36.66% of S Immo shares.

DHL Supply Chain has begun the construction of a logistics facility in Gorzów Wielkopolski with a planned total area of 110,000 sqm.

First Property Group has acquired another 7,171 sqm (or 32.1%) of Blue Tower in Warsaw city centre, bringing its ownership of the property up to 80.3% (17,937 sqm).

GTC signed an SPA to sell its Matrix A and B office buildings in Zagreb to a strong local real estate group from Croatia. This transaction will mark a return on cost exceeding 22% and is about 7% above the book value. GTC’s ability to sell assets well above the book value demonstrates that the current discount to NAV on its share price is not justified.

Panattoni has leased out 17,000 sqm in Lublin to Stella Pack, one of the largest distributors of chemical cleaning products and a producer of hygiene products. The leasing agreement was brokered by consultancy BNP Paribas Real Estate.

The Czech Green Building Council (CZGBC) has a new member, global commercial real estate service provider Avison Young. CZGBC is a non-profit association connecting companies with a common interest in high-quality buildings that support new construction and renovation based on sustainability principles.

Real estate investments amounting to around €1.2 billion are currently in various stages of negotiation, while over €600 million in investment volumes were completed in the first eight months of this year, according to real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. 

Romanian developer One United Properties has recorded a consolidated turnover of €136.7 million in the first half of 2022, a 54% increase compared to the first half of 2021. The gross profit increased more than double year-on-year, reaching €78.8 million, while the cash position amounted to €102.7 million. 

We can see many significant changes, architectural achievements and positive trends in the Czech real estate market. Nevertheless, there is still much to do, says Zdenka Klapalová who is the President of the Association for Real Estate Market Development (ARTN) and has followed the Czech real estate market as an expert for more than 30 years.
