White Star Real Estate has taken over the management of three shopping centres in southern Poland from the Focus Estate Fund portfolio: Rybnik Plaza, Ruda Śląska Plaza, and Sosnowiec Plaza. 

Greykite European Real Estate Fund has commenced its deployment programme with the acquisition of a major logistics portfolio in Poland. Comprising three properties in Warsaw, Stryków and Gliwice, the portfolio will form the initial investment in a new €300 million joint venture with White Star Real Estate, a Central Europe-focused real estate developer and manager. White Star, the minority JV partner, developed the properties and will continue in its role as asset and property manager.

White Star Real Estate has taken over the management of Galeria Sandecja in Nowy Sącz. This is another shopping center from the Focus Estate Fund portfolio, where WSRE assumes property management, and the first where it provides two management services in one facility for an external client.

White Star Real Estate has published its ESG report for the year 2022, which includes a review of activities related to the areas outlined in its ESG Policy: environmental, social and corporate governance. Despite no legal obligation to prepare a non-financial report for 2022, the company opted to create a report in reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.

Regesta, a specialist provider of road transport, forwarding and logistics services, has renewed its lease for more than 17,000 sqm of warehouse, office and social space in Park Tychy DC1. The tenant was represented during the lease negotiations by Newmark Polska.

The upcoming launch of the first hotel in Poland for the Barceló chain, operating under the brand name Barceló Hotels & Resorts, marks the final phase of investment for the Elektrownia Powiśle complex in Warsaw. It represents the completion of all planned construction work for the revitalization of the former power station site, which was conducted by Tristan Capital Partners’ EPISO 4 Fund and White Star Real Estate.

White Star Real Estate has sold the 17,000 sqm Krisztina Plaza office building in Central Buda. The name of the buyer was not disclosed.

Groundworks have started at this new business park in the southern part of the Hungarian capital. The first phase is scheduled to be open in June 2023. 

Liberty Technology Park is one of the first technological parks in Romania, currently hosting a vibrant IT ecosystem. The 17,000 sqm office compound has been acquired by White Star Real Estate and its partners in 2019, planning to create a true mixed-use project, harmoniously blending the existing business community with new complementary areas. The first phase will include two residential buildings, currently under construction, followed by a separate building designed for a kindergarten and three office buildings, with generous retail spaces on the ground floor. Real estate consultancy company Griffes will oversee the commercial and leasing strategy of the project. 

White Star Logistics, a joint venture between White Star Real Estate and Bain Capital Credit, will build a 30,000 sqm logistics and manufacturing park in Łodź. The complex will consist of two buildings, the first of which will be commissioned in the first half of 2023. This is another investment of White Star Logistics, which was announced in recent months - after warehouse parks in Raszyn, Nowy Konik and Toruń.
