The upcoming launch of the first hotel in Poland for the Barceló chain, operating under the brand name Barceló Hotels & Resorts, marks the final phase of investment for the Elektrownia Powiśle complex in Warsaw. It represents the completion of all planned construction work for the revitalization of the former power station site, which was conducted by Tristan Capital Partners’ EPISO 4 Fund and White Star Real Estate.

The hotel will offer 151 rooms, while the Iberian-style SkyBar, a rooftop pool and scenic views of the city. Located at the intersection of Zajęcza and Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie streets, the hotel building was designed by the APA Wojciechowski studio, the same team behind the Elektrownia Powiśle revitalization project.

"The addition of the Barceló-branded hotel completes the development of the Elektrownia Powiśle complex on the side of the Vistula River and Zajęcza Street, creating a unified architectural and functional concept that harmonizes with the other spaces we have had the pleasure of developing in recent years. Moreover, it serves as a symbolic conclusion to the extensive construction work carried out on the entire complex. From this moment on, we enter a new phase in the realization of the project, having already achieved its final form and character, but it will continue to thrive with life and captivate residents of Warsaw with its many attractions,” says Victoria Yakubenko of Tristan Capital Partners.

"With the construction work now complete, the commercialization process has also reached its conclusion. The retail, residential, and office areas are all almost fully leased. Only a few premises remain available” – emphasizes Dariusz Domański of White Star Real Estate. “Elektrownia Powiśle owes its undeniable success to a combination of factors, including its unique blend of multiple functionalities in one building, as well as its prime location and historical surroundings that have attracted strong and dynamic brands", Dariusz Domański adds.

Among the tenants who chose Elektrownia’s office space, are Dentons law firm, the Douglas perfume chain's headquarters, the Guess clothing company, and Sony Music Polska. One of the floors in the Elektrownia Powiśle office buildings is occupied by White Star Real Estate, the company developing the complex. In addition to office and retail space, apartments, and a hotel, Elektrownia Powiśle will house 44 restaurants, bars, and cafés.
