Reconstruction of Prague's Masaryk station to cost €138 million

The reconstruction of the Masaryk railway station in Prague will be done for the Railway Administration (SŽ) for approximately CZK 3.39 billion (€138.5 million) by Strabag Rail and Strabag, which were successful in the tender. ČTK was informed about this by SŽ spokeswoman Nela Eberl Friebová. During the reconstruction, a platform will be built above the track, a better connection with Florence will be created and trains will be able to run on nine tracks instead of the current seven. SŽ also plans to reconstruct the Smíchov and Main Railway Stations in Prague, writes ČTK.

Kaprain and Penta Real Estate to build new project in Prague 9

Kaprain and Penta Real Estate have entered into a cooperation agreement to build on the former Howden ČKD factory site adjacent to the O2 arena. Penta has bought a 40% stake in the project, which will create a new centre of Prague's Vysočany and Libeň districts on a site of over 50,000 sqm, Kaprain announced.

Penta Real Estate sells coworking centre to Scott.Weber

CPI Property Group to sell ski resort in Switzerland

CPI Property Group (CPIPG) announced the signing of an agreement concerning the disposal of the ski resort business in Crans Montana in Switzerland. It is a binding agreement for the sale of part of the shares to an American mountain resort company Vail Resorts. The gross transaction value is more than CHF 100 million (€105 million).

Portin Group to sell ten Czech retail parks for €162 million

A CZK 4 billion (€162 million) real estate deal is set to take place in the Czech Republic in 2024, which will undoubtedly be one of the biggest in the next year. Development group Portin is set to sell a set of around ten retail parks whose main tenants include Billa, Penny Market, DM Drogerie and Datart, writes online daily e15.cz.

Amundi sells office building in Prague 4

The City Point office building in Prague 4 - Pankrác is changing hands. It is being transferred from the hands of the investment company Amundi Czech Republic to the ownership of the domestic operator of coworking spaces and serviced offices WorkLounge. Mint Investments Group was the investment advisor that handled the entire transaction for Amundi. Agents from real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield and law firm Havel & Partners also participated in the deal. The transaction was worth more than CZK 450 million (€18.25 million).

New leases

  • Piotr Pikiewicz has joined the 7R team. In the role of Head of Project & Corporate Debt, he will lead the team responsible for project and corporate financing at 7R Group.
  • Tiberius Poland, a company that is part of the international Teddy Group, which owns the Terranova, Calliope and Rinascimento brands, has signed a five-year lease agreement with Gemini Park Tarnów (southern Poland). The nearly 500-square-meter space will house a Terranova brand store. It is scheduled to open in early December 2024.
  • RRmoto, a retailer of motorcycle clothing and accessories, has joined the tenants of Morski Park Handlowy in Gdańsk. Its store will occupy 1,140 sqm of space. Cushman & Wakefield brokered the transaction and provided advice during the lease negotiation.

New appointments

  • Wrocław's Quorum complex, owned by the Cavatina group, has gained another tenant from the IT sector. The Hexe Capital Group will move to the Quorum D building, which is part of it, and will occupy about 720 sqm of space on the fourth floor there.
  • Panattoni has announced personnel appointments in its Capital Markets Poland division. Damian Stężycki has been appointed as Managing Director and Joanna Kawrowska together with Michał Stanisławski will take the role of the Co-Heads of the department.
  • Marvipol Development S.A. has announced the appointment of Andrzej Nizio to the company's Management Board. He will serve as vice-president of the board for another two-year term.
