Romanian medical equipment distributor Dentstore has expanded its leased warehousing capacity in CTPark Bucharest to 8,500 sqm in a bid to accommodate higher demand from Romania and Bulgaria.

Alina Necula, Country Manager for Romania at Lion’s Head, spoke with Property Forum about the company’s plans to expand in the industrial and logistics sector and its strategy to boost its Bucharest- based portfolio. She also mentioned some of the trends that are shaping the workplace environment. 

Financial company Transilvania Investments has sold the Coroana-Postăvaru hotel in Brașov for close to €9.4 million as part of its portfolio rebalancing strategy. The sale was carried out in a public offering.

Office leasing in Bucharest totaled 128,915 sqm in the second quarter of 2023, up 48% compared to the same period of last year, driven by large deals closed by retail, financial and technology firms, according to a report by Fortim Trusted Advisors, a member of BNP Paribas Real Estate Alliance.

Around 650,000 sqm of industrial and logistics spaces are under development in Romania, which once completed will be added to the stock of 6.3 million sqm that was operational at the end of 2022, according to a Colliers report.
