157 studios from 33 countries in Europe, America and Asia have applied to the competition for the revitalisation of a brownfield and the construction of new city blocks in Prague's Florenc. GTC has announced financing extension for Galeria Jurajska shopping centre in Częstochowa (southern Poland). The amended credit agreement extends the loan maturity by 5 years, with a remaining balance of €100.65 million. The financing is provided by Erste Group Bank AG and Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien AG.

NEPI Rockcastle says it reached a record-breaking net operating income (NOI) of €556 million during 2024, a 13.2% increase compared to the previous year, over strong retailer sales and resilient consumer demand in CEE.

Atrium Group Services, a subsidiary of G City Europe, has sold the Atrium Flora shopping centre to Max Realitní, a real estate fund focused on investment in commercial retail and office properties in the Czech Republic, part of the Redstone Group. The Prague office of Clifford Chance advised the seller.

Investment activity in the commercial real estate market in the Czech Republic has shot up sharply in the last quarter of 2024. After rising yields in 2022 and 2023, "prime yields" have stabilised in 2024 and the market has found a new price equilibrium, according to Colliers' regular quarterly survey. 

Crestyl has presented its new project at Pankrác in Prague. The Boka Pankrác is designed as a mixed-use project connecting retail premises and a supermarket with offices. 

Romania's construction industry maintained a high level of activity in 2024, despite a slight 4% decrease compared to the previous record year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS). However, compared to 2018, the volume of construction works was 78% higher during 2024.
