The Echo-Archicom Group closes the year 2022 with a strong cash position and further reduced the company's net debt. This is the result of selling seven office buildings worth nearly €320 million. In 2022, the Group generated a net profit of PLN 127 million attributable to shareholders of the parent company, which was mainly the outcome of handing over to customers 2,168 apartments for sale and rent built by Echo Investment and Archicom, as well as an increase in the value of office buildings and apartments for rent.

The new investment is a continuation of the Resi4Rent Warsaw Woronicza project. It is a 5-story building with 344 subscription apartments.

Resi4Rent has secured a €50 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for new investments in the institutional rental market in cities hosting refugees from Ukraine, the company said. This is the first EBRD financing for the institutional rental sector (PRS) in Poland.

Handing over 1,650 apartments for sale and rent to customers, maintaining 100% of the lease level in all completed Resi4Rent buildings, increasing the turnover of Libero in Katowice and Galeria Młociny in Warsaw – this is a summary of the Echo-Archicom Group's operating activities in three quarters of 2022. During this time, the Group generated PLN 125 million in net profit.

Sławomir Imianowski, CEO of Resi4Rent talked to Property Forum about the development of the Polish PRS market, residential demand among Ukrainian refugees and the challenges related to surging materials and energy prices.

A lending transaction worth appr. €78.3 million (PLN 355 million) related to the refinancing of a residential portfolio is the first joint venture of Resi4Rent and ING Bank Śląski. 

Over PLN 70 million of net profit, increasing assets value, in particular in the residential sector, as well as decreased debt level – this is a brief summary of Q3 2021 results in Echo Investment Group. The group is satisfied with the pace of Resi4Rent development and a large landbank, that allows building ca. 15,000 apartments.

The third quarter of 2021 and the beginning of the next quarter is a period of historic changes in the Polish real estate market, which will not be without impact on consumers' housing plans, says Resi4Rent.

Echo Investment summarizes the first half of 2021, taking into account the results of the Archicom S.A. group for the first time. The first six months of 2021 brought the Group over PLN 47 million in net profit, which was mainly the result of handing over to customers 398 apartments built by Echo Investment, as well as 202 apartments of Archicom and an increase in the value of office buildings – in particular Malthouse Offices in Warsaw Breweries and Brain Park I in Cracow. Important item that influenced the results for the first half of the year and the second quarter was the profit on purchase price allocation of Archicom S.A. shares.

The construction of the Resi4Rent project in Poznań has been completed. Less than two weeks after obtaining a use permit, 30 rental contracts have already been signed.
