ELI Parks, the network developed by Element Group and D Craig Real Estate, will kick off a new logistics and industrial project in Oradea. The companies will invest €22 million in the new park that will have a leasable area of 30,000 sqm.
Industrial developer CTP has started the construction of CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal, the first industrial park with an air cargo terminal in Romania. The project is located close to Oradea Airport and the Eurobusiness II industrial park.
CTP’s portfolio of industrial and logistics spaces in Romania reached 2.1 million sqm in January 2022, with representatives of the company suggesting that the country can become a logistics hub for the region.
Romanian Prima Development Group will invest around €40 million in Green Residence, a new residential project in Oradea comprising over 800 apartments.
Local capital group Lotus Center, the largest owner of shopping centres in Oradea, acquired the multifunctional complex Oradea Plaza from Portico Investments, in a transaction advised by Colliers International.
Oradea Shopping City, the Romanian city’s second largest shopping centre which is currently going through a second bankruptcy, has been purchased by the shareholders of Lotus Center Mall, the city’s largest shopping centre, for €8 million.
Real estate developer Zacaria announced the expansion of Western Industrial Park in Oradea with a new warehouse of more than 6,300 sqm, already commissioned by a German tenant in the process of opening its first subsidiary in Romania.
Another brand from the CCC Group portfolio has joined the tenants of Galeria Sudecka in Jelenia Góra. The new CCC store will occupy 725 sqm of space. Customers can also do their shopping at the new Rossmann drugstore (450 sqm).
The EPP-owned Galaxy shopping centre in Szczecin is strengthening its offer by developing its partnership with HalfPrice. The relaunched showroom now has a wider assortment and larger floor space - about 3,200 sqm.
Homepark Janki is expanding its offer with a new shop selling electric bikes by Engwe. The brand's first Polish showroom has taken up an area of 108 sqm.
New appointments
Karol Czupryński has joined the management board of Empik. He will take the position of Chief Commercial Officer. Czupryński has previously worked at Allegro, Procter & Gamble and Boston Consulting Group, among others.
Marcin Grabara officially takes over the reins at Rossmann SDP sp z.o.o. from 24 May. He will replace Marek Maruszak as president, who is retiring after 24 years with the company.
CPI Property Group, is expanding the Warsaw structures of its Leasing Office department. Maciej Skubiszewski has been named the new Senior Leasing Manager. he will be responsible for the implementation of the leasing strategy as well as the commercialization and re-commercialization of space in office buildings in CPIPG's portfolio - Central Tower, Concept Tower and Chałubińskiego 8 (CH8).
