Industrial developer CTP is advancing construction work for a new 10,800 sqm building at CTPark Oradea North, continuing its expansion in western Romania. With this new project, CTP's total portfolio in Oradea exceeds 100,000 sqm of leasable space, consolidating the city's role as a regional logistics hub.

CTPark Oradea North is located on one of Oradea's main arteries and a well-developed industrial and commercial zone, just 4 km from the city centre and 9 km from the Hungarian border. This makes it a strategic gateway for cross-border trade within the European Union. The Calea Borșului area is recognised as a major development corridor, hosting logistics facilities, warehouses, factories, showrooms, commercial spaces and industrial parks.

The industrial park spans 50,000 sqm and benefits from connectivity, being situated near Oradea Airport and just 3-5 hours by car from Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava. The new building will feature 10,800 sqm of modern logistics and industrial spaces, with units available from 3,000 sqm, with delivery estimated for the second quarter of 2026. Designed according to CTP's CTSpace concept standards, the building will serve companies seeking operational efficiency, rapid access to EU markets and proximity to a skilled local workforce.

"Oradea has consolidated its position as a regional logistics hub, offering investors the infrastructure, connectivity and skilled workforce they need to grow," said Ronald Binkofski, Managing Director CTP Romania. "We continue to invest in Oradea, expanding CTPark Oradea North with new facilities that create optimal conditions for both local and international companies to prosper in a competitive European market."

CTP operates three industrial parks in the area: CTPark Oradea North, CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal (connected directly to Oradea Airport), and CTPark Oradea City (fully occupied by Iwis). Together, these three locations provide a solid platform for companies looking to expand in a dynamic, well-connected region with cross-border openness. The company supports business development throughout Romania through industrial parks strategically located in key locations including Bucharest, Timișoara, Arad, Oradea, Sibiu, Craiova and Brașov.

The carbon cost is already in your building. You just can't see it yet

by Property Forum
A structural shift is rewriting the financial logic of European commercial real estate. It isn't being driven by ESG pressure or voluntary sustainability labels. It's being driven by regulation — and the numbers are concrete enough that ignoring them is becoming a financial risk. A recent white paper by workcloud24 traces the mechanism in detail: how the operational energy and CO₂ performance of a building transmits into net operating income, asset value, and financing conditions. The argument isn't that green buildings are virtuous. It's that inefficient buildings are becoming measurably more expensive to own, operate, and finance.
