Novotel has opened its first hotel in Croatia, marking the Accor brand's debut in the country. Located at the eastern gateway of Zagreb, the 163-room Novotel Zagreb sits 20 minutes from Franjo Tuđman Airport and 15 minutes from the city centre.

Logistics developer CTP has built a new coworking centre named "Clubco' in the IQ Ostrava complex on Náměstí Republiky where the company Tietoevry was previously located. The premises are suitable for small and medium-sized companies, as well as corporations or freelancers. Up to 130 people can work together in 1,512 sqm of office space.

Deutsche Hospitality has opened its first IntercityHotel in Budapest. The 312-room hotel, realised by the Hamburg-based B&L Group, will be Deutsche Hospitality's first property in Hungary. Located right next to Keleti Railway Station, it will also feature resplendent latest generation IntercityHotel interior design by the Milan-based architect Matteo Thun.

On Thursday, 11 March, SES Spar European Shopping Centers opened S-Park Kaposvár, a new retail park in Southern Hungary. As a result of a renewed lockdown in the country, only those stores that are deemed essential for the provision of basic goods and services to the population have been allowed to open. These are a 6,800 sqm Interspar store, a 600 sqm dm drugstore and a 150 sqm Ofotért optical retail store. Dutch-Czech real estate investment company Fidurock has opened a new retail park Choceň in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. The retail park comprises 10 units with Penny Market as the main tenant, occupying an area of ​​1,300 sqm. Other tenants include Pepco, KiK, Okay elektro, Rossmann, ZZN, a pharmacy and others.

The region’s largest shopping centre Galerija Belgrad will open on 30 October. With a total area of 300,000 sqm, Galerija Belgrade will offer local and international brands in one place, dozens of cafes and restaurants, two entertainment complexes, a cinema with the most advanced IMAX technology and as many as 3,600 parking places.
