The cosmetics, food supplements and parapharmaceuticals company Green Net has leased 2,500 sqm in Chitila Logistics Hub, developed by Globalworth and Global Vision. The leasing process was carried out virtually.

The office market in Bucharest continues to grow, with 124,000 of modern office space delivered in the first nine months of the year ​​388,000 sqm more in the pipeline, according to Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. The commercial stock of office buildings in Bucharest reaches about 2.9 million square meters with an additional 150,000 sqm of owner-occupied stock.

The number of state-owned companies relying on modern office space is on the rise, reveals Savills. The public sector and state-owned firms more than doubled their share in office take-up in Warsaw in Q1-Q3 2020 compared to last year. What’s more, Savills estimates that negotiations are pending for more than the amount of office space leased by this sector in the nine months to September 2020.

Tyre manufacturer Nexen Tire Europe is expanding its activities near Žatec. Besides its plant in the Triangle Strategic Industrial Zone, the company will lease from CTP an additional large warehouse at the neighbouring ctPark Žatec, from March 2021. The 12,000 m2 Central Distribution Warehouse will be constructed for supplying the whole European market with tyres manufactured by Nexen for passenger and commercial vehicles.

Etele Plaza, developed by Futureal in Budapest’s Kelenföld area, has reportedly reached an occupancy rate over 75%. The shopping centre, planned to be completed by Q3 2021, will feature every Inditex brand available in Hungary, including a Zara fashion store featuring a brand new design concept.

Globalworth and Global Vision have leased part of the first warehouse delivered within Constanța Business Park to PepsiCo. The company will lease storage space of approximately 6,000 square meters and an office area of ​​550 square meters.

JLL has advised SLS Cargo, a transport and logistics company, in a lease transaction of 15,500 sqm of warehouse space in P3 Bucharest A1, located approximately 13 km west of Bucharest’s city centre. The new location is consolidating under one roof the logistic operations of SLS Cargo located around Bucharest.

AFI Park Brașov, an office project developed by AFI Europe Romania, announced two new tenants, Siemens Romania and NTT Data. The Class A office building has thus reached an occupancy rate of 55% before its official opening, with a total leased area of approximately 8,300 sqm.

As the next step in the integration of Vodafone Hungary and UPC, in the autumn of 2022, colleagues working in the company's Budapest offices will move to the Budapest One office park. The complex, developed by Futureal, will house Vodafone's new headquarters.
