Global logistics company Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is strengthening its position in the Czech Republic. At one of the largest industrial parks in the country, CTPark Bor, the company is expanding its total warehouse space. Besides the existing 20,000 sqm site that Hellmann currently operates, an additional area of almost 12,000 sqm will be added by the end of the year. Hellmann uses the CTPark Bor for worldwide distribution but with a strong focus on the German market.

“Hellman is a long-term client and a respected partner. I am therefore delighted that as part of our cooperation we managed to respond flexibly to the need for additional warehouse capacity at CTPark Bor,” said Jakub Kodr, CTP Senior Business Developer for the Czech Republic region.

The Bor park is a pilot project for CTP, which is introducing a new approach to the community on a large scale. At the site, the company is developing a wide range of services for tenants. In addition to sports grounds and other recreational facilities for employees and local people, the developer is gradually building canteens and restaurants, as well as other facilities, including accommodation for the employees of tenants, and doctors’ surgeries.

“We want our parks to have a variety of functions, not just to offer employment. We also need to include spaces where clients can meet and enjoy free time. A good balance of work and leisure activities helps ensure employee satisfaction, and we want to give our tenants the opportunity to enjoy such a balance,” Kodr added.

Hellman also appreciated the quality of the Bor park and the flexibility of CTP in negotiations. “We have long-term experience with CTP. The site at Bor suits us in terms of its location, infrastructure, accessibility and other related facilities. We highly appreciated the speed with which CTP was able to respond to our demand for new space,” explained Marc Wijnen, Chief Operating Officer Contract Logistics – Europe.
