Face2Face Business Campus, an office complex in Katowice with a combined area of close to 50,000 sqm, has a new property manager. Its owner, a joint venture of the Czech fund INVESTIKA realitní fond and Luxembourg-based private equity investor Bud Holdings, has instructed Savills to provide property management for the complex.
A JV of Investika – a Czech retail investment fund, and Bud Holdings – a Luxembourg-based private equity company, became the new owner of the entire Face2Face Business Campus in Katowice. Echo Investment signed a sale agreement for the complex comprising two office buildings. The agreed price is about €110 million.
The development, located in the centre of Katowice, will offer nearly 48,000 sqm of office space, more than 1,000 sqm of green terraces, outdoor areas and social spaces. Construction of the building has already begun.
Panattoni starts another record-breaking investment, valued at €161 million (about PLN 770 million). The developer purchased nearly 45 hectares of land in October this year. Panattoni Park Katowice Airport will begin construction in the coming months, eventually reaching an area of 216,270 sqm. The investment will be built in the vicinity of the international airport, and the A1 and S1 routes.
Revetas Capital is converting its office landbank portfolio of approximately 90,000 sqm developable GLA in 3 major cities in Poland into residential, entering the Private Rental Sector. The recapitalization of the portfolio should provide a capacity of up to 2,000 beds. The objective of the conversion is to build an institutional PRS portfolio in major Polish university cities.
P3 has finalised the purchase of its third plot in Southern Poland. The acquisition is P3’s first investment in Upper Silesia, the second-largest warehouse market in the country.
According to Walter Herz, the beginning of the year brought a revival in demand for offices. Katowice now has a larger offer than Poznań and rental rates for the best space in Warsaw have increased.
After delivering 400,000 sqm of warehouse space in 2021, 7R continues to pursue its expansion strategy with 800,000 sqm currently under construction throughout Poland. In Upper Silesia, the company is developing a number of projects including a production and warehouse facility at 7R City Park Katowice I, which will deliver over 49,600 sqm to the market. The project will be ready in Q4 2022.
Supersam, a mixed-use destination in Katowice which includes a shopping centre and office buildings, is undergoing a transformation. It will soon feature more office space as well as a new restaurant section. The Konior Studio led by Silesian architect Tomasz Konior is responsible for the redevelopment project. The work should be completed in Q4 2022.
Salzgitter Mannesmann Acélkereskedelmi Kft. has signed another long-term lease agreement in the ZenGarden office building in Budapest. The redesigned workspace will take up over 500 sqm in the building.
The New Balance brand has expanded the space of its showroom in Galeria Warmińska in Olsztyn, Poland. The American brand's shop currently occupies an area of almost 200 sqm.
GLP has signed a contract with Victaulic, which has leased 7,500 sqm of space in the newest building of GLP Poznań Airport Logistics Centre at Poznań's Ławica airport.
