Allianz and VGP form JV for logistics development in CEE

Allianz Real Estate, acting on behalf of several Allianz group companies, and logistics developer VGP have agreed to form a new 50/50 joint venture. The vehicle, the fourth such venture between Allianz Real Estate and VGP since 2016, will develop a portfolio of prime logistics assets in Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.

Grosvenor is the cornerstone investor of Polish Logistics LLP, a new investment vehicle established by IO Asset Management, the specialist manager of industrial real estate, and Reino Capital, a real estate holding company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Polish Logistics LLP has acquired Logistic City in the established logistics location of Piotrków, south of Łódź, from a private investor.

Echo Investment to launch apartment rental platform

Echo Investment is launching a joint venture with a company controlled by an unnamed investor. Resi4Rent is the first fully integrated investor, operator and asset manager for purpose-built residential communities in Poland. With more than 1,200 apartments under construction and another 1,700 apartments ready for construction in the next 12 months, Resi4Rent will be the largest residential for rent platform in Poland. The first tenants will be able to move in during the fourth quarter of 2019.

  • FitFabric will open a fitness club in the WIMA Widzewska Manufaktura mixed-use complex, developed by Cavatina Holding on al. Piłsudskiego in Łódź.
  • Stokrotka, Polish grocery chain has leased almost 3,000 sqm (including 125 sqm of office space) in 7R Park Bydgoszcz I warehouse complex.
  • German healthcare services provider doctari group has opened a technology hub in Iulius Town, the mixed-use project based in Timișoara. The company plans to hire 30 tech specialists in the new office.

  • Czech developer Contera has promoted Svetozár Rohoň MRICS as Country Manager for Slovakia.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the University of Essex and a Master’s degree in International Security at the University of Warwick in the UK.
