Speedwell Development has announced the appointment of Yannick Van de Parre as Country Manager for Romania. 

Speedwell Development has obtained the construction permits for the first 50 luxury villas in a new residential project in Corbeanca, near Bucharest, where it plans to invest €94 million.

Speedwell has started the construction of the last building of its Triama Residence project in Bucharest.  

Speedwell expects to break ground in 2024 with its new villa project near Bucharest, in Corbeanca, with the first residential units set to be delivered in early 2025.

Despite a challenging financing environment, mixed-use developments are gaining ground in Romania as they provide a better mix of facilities for end–users and tenants, concluded speakers of the mixed-use panel of SEE Property Forum 2023, held in Bucharest recently.

Real estate developer Speedwell has purchased a new land plot in Timișoara, where the company plans to start the construction of its second mixed-use project in the city. The value of the transaction was not made public.

Belgian developer Speedwell has started the construction works for the second phase of development for SpacePlus West project, near Bucharest. The new development will have a leasable area of 7,000 sqm, while the whole project will reach 10,000 sqm. 

Belgian developer Speedwell has obtained the construction permit for the third building of The Ivy, the premium residential complex located in the Băneasa neighborhood, in Bucharest. The building is part of the second phase of development and represents an investment of €22 million, out of the €160 million value of the entire project.

Speedwell has purchased a land plot of 14 hectares in Corbeanca locality, close to northern Bucharest, for a new residential development that will feature 210 villas. 

Property developer Speedwell has received the building permit for Phase 1 of the Paltim project that will feature 123 apartments out of 236 planned units, with construction works set to start soon.
