Czech investment group RSJ plans to make it easier for Prague developers to finance the purchase of land for residential projects. Until now, RSJ has only cooperated with developers through shares in their projects but the new RSJ Landbank sub-fund will buy the land instead of the developer, who will take it over only after obtaining all building permits, which in Prague usually takes several years, local daily E15 reports.

Penta Investments group has sold a building plot of 6,500 square meters in Warsaw for almost €25 million. The plot in the Wola district was bought by Lincoln Property Company together with the investment group ENERN. They plan to build an office building with 30,000 meters of leasable area on a plot with the availability of public transport.

According to Savills latest research using Pitchbook data, €13.2bn of venture capital (VC) was raised by European headquartered life science companies between 2014 and 2018, resulting in over 650,000 sqm of office and lab deals across selected European life science markets between 2016 and 2020. Biotechnology and nanotechnology industries are also developing rapidly in Poland.

Union Investment and GARBE Industrial Real Estate jointly acquired the first logistics property for their “UII Garbe Logistik Fonds” investment fund. The seller is the Karimpol Group, a privately held property developer active in Eastern and Central Europe for over 30 years. It was agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.

MLP Group has released consolidated financial results for the first half of 2021, showing revenue of PLN 97.6m, up 16% year on year, and net profit of PLN 166.5m, up 38% year on year. Equity (net assets) rose 24% in the first six months of the year, to PLN 1.5bn, with gross investment property having advanced by 16%, to PLN 2.7bn.

GARBE Industrial Real Estate Poland has acquired a new flagship production and warehouse facility of Hubergroup located in Wroclaw. The parties have signed a Preliminary Purchase Agreement for a new 22,000 sqm Build-to-Suit facility, on a 20-year term sale & leaseback transaction.
