HelloParks proceeds with 45,000 sqm project near Budapest

The first column has been placed of the first 45,000 sqm warehouse in Fót, which is an important milestone in launching one of Hungary’s largest industrial and logistic developments by HelloParks, a member of Futureal Group, after the first tenants started to move into another megapark of the company in Maglód. For this energy-efficient, BREEAM sustainability standard-compliant facility that is developed as a part of a greenfield investment close to the Hungarian capital, the composition of the tenants is already outlined: negotiations are at an advanced stage, mainly with e-commerce, parcel logistics and courier businesses, as well as logistics companies serving a single manufacturing company.

FoxPost rents 8,400 sqm from HelloParks near Budapest

The first big tenant has moved into the first completed unit of the HelloParks industrial and logistics megapark located in Maglód, next to Budapest. FoxPost, the operator of the largest parcel locker chain of Hungary, has leased an area of 8,400 sqm and already started the installation of its new parcel sorting machines. With this investment of €1.5 million, FoxPost’s daily parcel sorting capacity will be increased by nearly tenfold.

HelloParks to develop 400,000 sqm megapark west of Budapest

Futureal’s HelloParks continues its development in the western agglomeration of the Hungarian capital, next to the M1 motorway, in Páty. This is the largest project in the history of the company and will complement HelloParks Fót in the North and HelloParks Maglód in the East, next to the airport. The total pipeline of Futureal Group’s industrial and logistics property development company, HelloParks, has now reached 900,000 sqm of GLA around Budapest.

HelloParks continues expansion in Hungary with new project

In the eastern agglomeration of Budapest, next to the M0 ring road, HelloParks continues its expansion with a new development in Maglód. As a member of Futureal Group, the company has started preparations for the implementation of HelloParks Maglód’s first 46,000 sqm facility being built in the first phase, on a 46 ha site located in the vicinity of M4 and M5 highways and Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The industrial and logistics centre will include a range of facilities exceeding a total area of 193,000 sqm hat meet the requirements of the BREEAM sustainability standard. The announcement of the investment in Maglód follows the company’s recent purchase of its first 76 ha site, also situated next to the M0 highway in Fót, where HelloParks Fót logistics megapark is under development.

HelloParks acquires its first land plot next to Budapest

HelloParks, Futureal Group’s recently established industrial and logistics property development and investment company, has acquired its first development plot in Fót, next to the junction of motorways M0 and M3. The 76 ha greenfield investment will house energy-efficient buildings that meet the BREEAM sustainability standard, with the first facility to be completed next year.

New leases

  • Flex office provider CitySpace is to open a 3,500 sqm centre in the MidPoint71 office building in Wrocław. The centre, which is to open on July 1st, will offer a range of 400 workstations. This is to be CitySpace’s fourth location in Wrocław.
  • The Australian Embassy in Warsaw has changed its headquarters. The Australian diplomatic mission has taken over 780 sqm of office space in Rondo 1 office building. CBRE assisted the Embassy in signing the lease.
  • FORUM Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych (FTFI) is set to join tenants of Kraków’s Wadowicka 3 office complex. The company will occupy 880 sqm on the fifth floor of the building, owned by Partners Group & Reino Partners. JLL supported the tenant in the process of lease negotiations.

New appointments

  • Fidurock integrated the retail portfolio into their structure and appointed Petr Vondrášek as a new Head of Retail Portfolio as of July 1st 2022.
  • Garbe Industrial Real Estate CEE expands its teams in the region with the appointments of Veronika Zacha and Jan Hradecky, both are coming from Panattoni. Veronika Zacha is joining as Senior Business Development Manager for Czechia and Jan Hradecky will hold a Project Manager position.
  • Colin King has been appointed Strategic Advisor of Romanian PropTech Bright Spaces. King has worked for over 30 years with large public companies and private mid-cap growth businesses, all with revenue well in excess of £1 billion.
