The German retailer has secured an 18,000 sqm industrial space in HelloParks Páty, located in the western suburbs of Budapest. The new facility will serve as a regional warehouse centre for the company. DM will move in at the end of November 2023.
The new space, which is to be complementary to the existing two facilities in Hungary, will serve for the distribution of DM's own branded products across Central and Eastern Europe.
HelloParks, part of Futureal Group, the developer of the park, added that DM may extend its presence there if needed later in the future. The company also said that the total amount of leased space in the first phase of the park was 32,500 sqm, representing 55% of the total GLA.
