HelloParks, a subsidiary of Futureal Group announced a fourth major industrial development in the Budapest logistics market. This time the firm will start construction on the southern outskirts of the Hungarian capital. The new 60,000 sqm industrial property in Alsónémedi is the biggest industrial project in the firm's history and is scheduled to open in Q2 2024.
This is the first luxurious residential real estate project of the Hungarian developer in Spain. At the same time, the company announced a second project on the Costa del Sol.
This is the first shopping centre in Hungary to be given such an award in the construction phase. The property, developed by the Hungarian company Futureal was opened in late 2021.
The first phase of Budapest ONE, developed by Futureal, has received a WELL Platinum certification. The office building was the first in Hungary to meet the highest requirements of the International Well Building Institute (IWBI).
The second phase of the almost completely contactless Corvin Innovation Campus office building developed by Hungarian firm Futureal has reached its highest point. This part provides 14,310 sqm of office space, and it has been developed according to the energy-cost-sensitive tenants’ needs.
Advance Tower, located on Budapest’s Váci Road office corridor, has become the latest office building to receive a WELL certification. With the International WELL Building Institute’s (IWBI) recent acknowledgement, two out of the three already WELL-certified office complexes in Hungary were developed by Futureal. Since 2020, Advance Tower has been part of Erste Open-Ended Euro Real Estate Investment Fund’s portfolio.
Futureal Investments Partners has announced that it will start the renovation of one of its recently acquired real estate investments in Poland. The Wratislavia Tower office building in Wrocław will be renovated with an intention to obtain the BREEAM Excellent In-Use certificate. More than half of the complex will be leased by the City of Wrocław.
Classical shopping centres should adapt to the latest trends in retail to survive. That includes establishing strong ties between the digital and physical world and defining the tenant mix more accurately. Entertainment is also a must as these centres will have to become beloved community centres as well, says Márk Balástyai, Project Director of the recently opened Etele Plaza, built by Hungarian developer Futureal.
Intersport will open a new large outlet in the recently refurbished GOBUDA Mall in Budapest in Q3 2023. The firm joins German retailer Wellensteyn and Hungarian retailer Budmil, both started to trade there in March. A new Wok'n Go restaurant will be available in the mall in the Summer.
Wolt has leased office space in Warsaw's Lumen building. As a result of the transaction, the new tenant has taken nearly 900 sqm. The office building in the centre of Warsaw is owned and managed by Globalworth Poland.
Lighting company Wojnarowscy has agreed a lease renewal for 3,870 sqm of warehouse and office space in Panattoni Park Sosnowiec II. The tenant was advised on the lease renegotiation by experts of real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.
New appointments
CPI Property Group is expanding its retail leasing department. Dariusz Kafara has been appointed as the new Leasing Manager. At the Warsaw branch of the company, Dariusz is responsible for maintaining the maximum level of commercialisation in two retail park chains from the group's portfolio - CityMarket and STOP SHOP.
Brian Nyeng Olesen, formerly head of commercial at the Salling Group, has been appointed as the new managing director of Netto Polska. The position was previously held by Hugo Mesquita.
M Core appoints Magdalena Kowalewska as the new Chief Operating Officer at LCP Properties, Poland. This comes at the same time that Krystian Modrzejewski has accepted a post as the Group Head of Expansion for Poland, where he will be responsible for realising the opportunity for land and asset acquisition in aid of portfolio growth. LCP Properties Poland is part of the M Core group, which brings together family-owned companies that invest in and manage real estate. It comprises LCP, Proudreed, Sheet Anchor, GIPAM and Evolve Estates.
