Echo Investment has received a €65.6 million loan for the construction of three office buildings of Brain Park complex in Kraków. The financing of the project was provided by PKO Bank Polski as a loan agent as well as Bank Pekao S.A. acting as security agent.
Resi Capital S.A., a company belonging to Cavatina Group, wants to deliver 2,200 apartments for rent in Katowice, Krakow, Łódź and Wrocław by 2023. The Quorum investment in Wrocław and WIMA Widzewska Manufaktura in Łódź are already under construction. Bank Pekao S.A. has just granted Resi Capital financing exceeding PLN 160 million in the form of loans for the realization of these housing projects.
Trei Real Estate just borrowed €27.5 million in its first financing arrangement with a Polish bank. The lending bank is “Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spólka Akcyjna” (“Pekao”). Collateral for the loan was provided in the form of seven Vendo Parks in Poland, all of which were completed during the past twelve months. The loan has a five-year maturity. The debt capital is earmarked for further residential developments and the construction of additional Vendo Parks in Poland.
Futureal has signed a €60 million (approximately HUF 21.5 billion) loan agreement with Erste Bank to finance the construction of the second phase of the Budapest ONE office park, currently under development, which is being developed in parallel with the third phase and will be handed over in the second half of 2022.

BIG Shopping Centers Ltd., the controlling shareholder (~95%) of BIG CEE, successfully raised NIS 205 million (approx. €55 million) by issuing secured bonds in the Israeli stock exchange by refinancing the following shopping centres: BIG Fashion Kragujevac, BIG Kruševac and BIG Fashion Outlet Inđija.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is boosting the development of green industrial and logistics real estate with a €72 million mezzanine loan facility to DL Invest Group, a Polish real-estate developer focused on commercial property.
CTP successfully completed another green bond issuance, structured as a dual tranche. CTP raised a total of €1 billion under its recently increased €8 billion EMTN program. The issue included a €500 million five-year tranche, a €500 million ten-year tranche and a concurrent €150 million capped tender offer on the €650 million senior notes due October 2025. Total demand for the issue was around €3.5 billion and the tender offer well exceeded the targeted amount, evidencing and further supporting the solid standing that CTP holds amongst international bond investors less than one year after first entering the market.
Szerémi Office Building in Budapest welcomed an unnamed new tenant which has signed a long-term lease agreement for 1252 sqm of space in the property. The complex of three interconnected buildings provides a total floor space of nearly 10,500 sqm.
Kucera Logistics Group Sp. z o.o Sp. K. has decided to open a new distribution centre at Panattoni Park Pruszków V. The tenant will occupy nearly 3,300 sqm of warehouse and office space in the new location. AXI IMMO represented Kucera Logistics Group in the transaction.
In the Go! Park Handlowy in Jasło, Poland, Dealz will open its shop. The chain's premises will occupy 520 sqm. The retail park is scheduled to open in June 2023.
New appointments
CPI Property Group has appointed Karol Klin as Head of Office Leasing in Warsaw from the 1st of February. He is a recognised specialist in the commercial real estate sector. He gained more than 20 years of experience in such companies as Cornerstone, Globalworth, Echo Investment, Skanska and GTC.
Daniel Cateliu has been appointed as Director in the Industrial & Logistics department of real estate consultancy CBRE Romania. He is currently pursuing an EMBA at the University of Sheffield in the UK. Cateliu is a graduate of the Faculty of Political Sciences within the SNSPA, subsequently following a master's program and earning an Erasmus scholarship at the University of Trieste in Italy.
Oscar Kazanelson - the current Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ROBYG - has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Vantage Development. This is related to the decision to build synergies within the TAG Immobilien Group.
