Panattoni has secured €22.5 million financing from Bank Pekao for a build-to-suit project in Łódź for Zrew Transformatory. The funds will be used to build a power transformer manufacturing plant.
"Łódź is one of the fastest-growing manufacturing and logistics markets in Poland. The financing secured from Bank Pekao enables us to carry out another project that strengthens the city's position through the creation of new jobs and the development of technological capabilities," says Emilia Taczewska-Trojańska, Head of Debt Finance Poland at Panattoni.
The new factory will comprise a production hall along with office and staff facilities. The facility has been designed for the assembly and testing processes of high-power energy transformer production. The investment will enable Zrew Transformatory to double its production capacity and will create around 200 new jobs.
Construction is scheduled for completion before the end of summer 2026, with production set to begin Q4. The project involves technical solutions including a hall with variable height of up to 20 metres, floors with load-bearing capacity of up to 210 tonnes, and 15 technological foundations with load-bearing capacity of up to 1,600 tonnes.
The project will undergo Breeam certification at the Excellent level.
