In addition to the existing investment facility with an overall amount of €118 million, pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided a €40 million credit facility to the open-ended fund Reico ČS Nemovitostní, the biggest mutual real estate fund on the Czech market, managed by Reico.

CPI Property Group announced the signing of nearly €500 million of new secured bank loans in 3 CEE countries. CPIPG currently has new bank loans in Poland, the Czech Republic as well as Slovakia.

PSN is opening up the brownfield site in Plynárenská Street in Brno to the public, which is being transformed into the "Brno Jedna" project. The company plans to organise small cultural and social events in the area, as well as the possibility of private renting of space. The developer is also leasing the existing office space, which is currently 60% occupied. Construction, which will include both apartments and new commercial units, will begin after all necessary permits have been processed. The approval process is expected to start this year. The company's goal is to revitalize the site overall so that it can offer a pleasant place to work, live and gather not only for local residents but also for the general public.

UBM Development Czechia has successfully completed the rough construction of the Astrid Garden residential project in Prague 7 - Holešovice, where 138 apartments and two commercial units are being built. Construction of Astrid Garden has been underway since November 2021 and is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2024. The sale of the project, designed by renowned architectural studio Bogle Architects, is being handled exclusively by the real estate agency Lexxus Norton. 

In ten years since entering the Karlovy Vary Region, Accolade Group has invested in a total of nearly 300,000 sqm of production, e-commerce and logistics space. The value of completed and handed-over projects exceeds €316 million and properties worth approximately €380 million are currently under construction. The Group's activities are leading to wage growth and a wider range of jobs. In addition to the projects in Cheb, the group recently completed the first building in a new industrial estate in Ostrov.

According to currently available data, 13 new brands have arrived on the Czech retail market in the first six months of this year. Most of them are in the fashion segment (clothes and accessories – seven brands) and culinary concepts (F&B – three brands). The latter are set to dominate the new arrivals this year: at least six F&B brands should come to the country by the end of the year, and other brands already present will open new branches, reports Cushman & Wakefield. 

The Pardubice Retail Fund has completed the largest Czech real estate deal so far this year involving a single building worth over €100 million. The value of the acquisition of the retail landmark in Pardubice has reached almost €124 million, Seznam.cz reports.

Stannah Stairlifts Limited, which has been helping disabled people to remain independent for more than 150 years and is a world market leader in the supply of stair lifts, moved in March to larger production premises in CTPark Brno Líšeň, where it leases more than 6,000 sqm. This is not the end of the expansion, however, as the company plans to move all their European rail production to Brno in the coming year, in order to provide faster and more flexible deliveries to European customers.

Accolade Group has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the Karlovarská Business Park complex near Prague Airport from Czech real estate fund Conseq realitní. Accolade is now 100% the owner of this complex. Both parties have decided not to disclose the amount of the transaction, which was brokered by CBRE.

Construction of one of the largest logistics projects in Croatia is entering its next phase. Development company RC Europe Group from the Czech Republic has started construction work on the RC Zone Samobor project in the Bobovica economic zone. The total land area of 170,000 sqm will feature an 86,000 sqm warehouse facility intended for leasing. In line with the tenants’ requirements, the space in the future logistics park can be used for storage, production, or office operations.
