Contera has announced a strategic partnership with Blackstone, the alternative asset manager. Blackstone has agreed to acquire CT's Real Estate portfolio of 10 logistics parks for approximately €470 million.

CTP is launching a new project at its T-Park technology campus in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The mixed-use T6 building will create a space that connects the scientific community, innovative start-ups, established companies and students.

Investors across Europe will continue to focus on sectors with strong structural tailwinds, such as living and logistics, according to a Knight Frank report. 

The Hilton hotel in Prague, in which former US President Barack Obama or his predecessors Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have stayed, is being sold by IBRC, the investment structure of the Irish bank NAMA, dealing with debt settlement, reports E15.cz. At the same time, the domestic business elite has been competing with multinational investment capital for the largest Czech hotel.

Only one new office building has been completed in Prague in Q3 of 2024. On the other side, efforts to upgrade some older properties have continued either on an ongoing basis or by temporarily taking them off the market, according to a survey prepared by Colliers. 

According to the 2024 European Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) Investment Barometer, conducted by The Class Foundation and Savills, involving investors and operators with portfolios totalling over 132,000 beds across Europe, with an asset value of c.€25.3 billion, respondents expect to increase the number of beds they have by 70% over the next 2-5 years. 

The Kampus Palace student housing project in the former Palace Hotel in the centre of Ostrava is being taken over by Purposia Group, an investment group with Czech roots, through its subsidiary development company Antracit, which is co-managed by former Ostrava mayor Tomáš Macura, reports E15.cz.

C.S.CARGO is expanding its operations by establishing new industrial premises at CTPark Kadaň. The lease of a total area of 4,200 sq m was facilitated by Savills.

The new Roztyly Plaza office building in Prague 4 has become the headquarters of the automotive company Volvo Car Czech Republic and TSC Spectre. The developer and investor of the project is Passerinvest Group.

Prague is intending to buy the historic building of the freight station Žižkov and the adjacent land from Czech Railways, reports E15.cz. If the purchase is completed the capital is planning changes to the zoning plan in the entire extensive brownfield next year allowing other developers to build.
