UDI Group has obtained a building permit for the Shopping Park Líbeznice project, with construction planned to begin in Q1 2026, with completion expected in the third quarter of the same year. All retail spaces in the future facility are already leased.

The company secured the building permit for Shopping Park Líbeznice on the northern edge of the municipality, at a location with infrastructure near the bypass exit. The shopping centre will feature a total retail area of 2,850 sqm and customer parking for 120 spaces.

UDI Group obtained the permit approximately one year later than originally expected, after successfully resolving complex technical and legislative requirements for connecting the project to water and sewerage infrastructure through close cooperation with the municipal authority. "Despite the year-long delay caused by the need to find solutions complying with European and Czech regulations, we are pleased to soon begin construction. The solution includes our own utility water source, which will contribute to the project's sustainability," said Jakub Malý, Director for the Czech Republic at UDI Group.

The smaller shopping centre will include a supermarket, tobacco shop, Asian bistro, pharmacy and hair salon.

The project design, with a total scope of 12,600 sqm, was created by architectural firm Hlaváček & Partner. The investor plans to begin construction work at the start of Q1 2026, with completion expected in Q3 2026.
