The Board of Directors has appointed Anders Danielsson new President and CEO of Skanska. He will succeed Johan Karlström who previously announced he will step down.

Frank Nickel (58), CEO of CA Immobilien Anlagen AG, decided to leave the company for health reasons, in mutual agreement with the company with effect as of 31 December 2017 the earliest but in any event not later than 31 March 2018.

RICS presented its new Board of Members in the Czech Republic, who will operate under the chairmanship of William Bucknell MRICS, Managing Director of Flow East Real Estate, one of the largest private investors in the Czech Republic.

Cushman & Wakefield signed a strategic partnership agreement with Polish start-up ShareSpace, recognizing the rapid growth of modern coworking office space for start-ups and SMEs, and changing office lease preferences of large corporations. Both partners will work together to further their expansion and promote technological and commercial solutions for flexible office leases.

Noerr has advised IDI Gazeley on the sale of its European division. In October Global Logistic Properties (GLP), Asia’s biggest warehouse operator, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Gazeley, a premier developer, owner and operator of modern logistics facilities in Europe for approximately €2.4 billion.

Continuing the ownership consolidation program started two years ago, Peter Munk, a Canadian businessman, was bought out of Granit Polus. In the new ownership structure, Sándor Demján and his direct management are the majority owners of the group of companies. Sándor Csányi remained as minority owner.

Cresa, a tenant-only commercial real estate firm, has opened its second Polish office in the city of Wrocław. The new office is headed by Michał Grabikowski, who is also the Head of Tenant Representation, Office Department of Cresa Poland in Wrocław.

Established in 2011 by Martina Bartek and Michaela Semanova, who will join Savills as directors, SB Property Services has 25 staff managing a portfolio of commercial properties comprising 185,000 sqm with a value of over €400 million. Clients include Commerz Real and Czech fund management company REICO (an investment company of Czech bank Ceska sporitelna). Among the Class A properties managed are Charles Square Center, the Melantrich Building, Rohan Business Center and the Trianon office building.

Cushman & Wakefield selected Budapest as the location of their Portfolio Services Centre (PSC) solution. The new 1,300 sqm PSC is located in the Studium Office Building, close to Corvinus University and many cultural venues and sights. The team is being led by Byron Tudor who has joined from Goldman Sachs International.

Savills has appointed Jaroslav Kaizr as Head of Leasing Agency for the Czech Republic & Slovakia.
