Prologis is expending Building 2 of Prologis Park Wrocław V with 16,500 square meters. The new investment is specifically tailored for two companies with very different backgrounds, but working towards the same goal: effective storage and distribution, both in the local market of Lower Silesia and across Poland.

Prologis has begun construction of two build-to-suit (BTS) facilities totalling 40,000 square meters in Prologis Park Wrocław IV.

Panattoni Europe will build the main warehouse for Leroy Merlin in Central Poland, Łódź voivodeship. The facility will exceed 123,600 sqm at ground level, which makes it a record-breaking project in the Polish warehouse market. Construction works are scheduled to begin already in Q2 of this year and are expected to end in Q4 2019. The facility will undergo the BREEAM environmental certification process aiming for a Good rating.

Panattoni Europe has completed the construction of two warehousing facilities with a total area of approximately 42,500 sqm for Raben Logistics Poland. The logistics’ new branch was built as a part of Panattoni Park Grodzisk III and is adapted to store approx. 50,000 pallets. The facility employs over 300 people and is able to serve over 85,000 shipments a day.

CTP and DSV, the fifth biggest global transport and logistics companies, signed a leasing agreement for approximately 40,000 sqm in CTPark Bucharest West. CTP invested about €12 million in the development of the new logistics spaces occupied by the Danish company in the first days of February.

Panattoni Europe is to build a distribution and online store service centre for SMYK. The facility, which will feature 70,000 sqm at full build-out, will be erected at the Panattoni Central European Logistics Hub in Łódź. The investment will be launched in early January and will proceed in a number of phases. The first 26,000 sqm is scheduled for commissioning in June 2018. Panattoni Europe is building Panattoni Park Zielona Góra – a modern multi-tenant distribution centre, planned for 75,000 sqm. At present, nearly 50,000 sqm, in three buildings, are under development. The space has been leased by both manufacturing companies and logistics businesses, which will be able to move into the park in early 2018.

Real estate developer Zacaria signed one of the largest rental contracts in 2017 for an industrial space in Sibiu, with the German company Kuka Systems, which will expand its activity in Romania. The new Kuka production space is a built-to-suit project, covering more than 10,000 sqm.

Panattoni Europe is to build a factory for Ontex, a Belgian producer of personal hygiene products. The facility featuring in excess of 26,000 sqm will be located in Radomsko, within the Łódź Special Economic Zone (ŁSSE). Construction works are about to begin in early December and are scheduled to end in July 2018.

Panattoni Europe has completed the construction of another e-commerce logistics centre for Amazon. The facility with total useful floor area of 161,500 sqm was erected in Kołbaskowo, near Szczecin. More than 3,000 robots have been put in place to support the employees, using Amazon Robotics technology. The investment was developed to comply with the requirements of BREEAM environmental certification.
