Savills has appointed Igor Gacek as Head of Property Management for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, effective 1st August 2023.

Colliers has appointed new managers to lead its industrial and investment divisions in the Czech Republic. Miroslav Kotek has been promoted to head of the industrial real estate team while Omar Sattar has been brought in to head up the real estate investment team. The main aim of this step is to strengthen the potential of both business lines of the company, to respond to the demands of the market and better deal with the dynamics of anticipated future growth in each sector.

Passerinvest Group has appointed Eduard Forejt as its new Business Development Director. He has expanded his current position to include activities related to the development of the sales team, planning and control of business activities as well as client and partner care. As this is an expanded position, Eduard Forejt will remain responsible for the development of Passerinvest's business activities and acquisitions, the company announced. 

The Czech branch of Knight Frank is expanding its portfolio of services. Until now, the company has focused on the commercial real estate segment, with the new addition of residential real estate services. The newly established department is headed by Kateřina Poláková, who has extensive experience in sales and marketing management in the residential segment, the company announced.

In 2021, Cushman & Wakefield Prague established a dedicated Residential Valuation & Advisory capability, in response to the growing demand for specialist services in the Czech residential market. In line with the further development of this service offer, the firm is delighted to announce Erik Müller as Head of the Residential Advisory Services team. Erik brings together a background in the operation of rental residential products, data analysis and residential appraisal, Cushman & Wakefield announced.  

Obermeyer Helika, one of the largest Czech engineering and construction consulting companies, is expanding its management. In the second week of January, the company appointed Jiri Kos as its new Chief Commercial Officer. 

MDC2 has appointed Martin Healey, a senior global property executive, to its Board. He is a senior international real estate investment professional with almost 25 years of experience. Martin is the Managing Director of Real Assets, and a member of the Global Leadership Team of CPP Investments, a global investment management organization.

Slovakia's JTRE enlarged its professional team before the end of the year 2022 and appointed Peter Píš as the new Commercial Director in December, JTRE reports.

Jozef Recska joined Cushman & Wakefield Slovakia as Head of Asset Services, leading a team of property management professionals. Part of the team is managing the Novum shopping centre in Presov. The bigger part of the Asset Services team is located in Bratislava.
