Hungary’s leading proptech event, the PropTech Hungary Conference, will be held for the sixth time on May 22nd. This professional gathering brings together top experts, innovators, and decision-makers from the fields of proptech, real estate, construction, BIM, and contech for a full day of exchange and discussion. Property Forum is supporting the event as a professional partner.

While last year’s event focused on the construction industry, BIM, and contech, this year, the concept of the smart city takes centre stage. Digitalisation is no longer just about the efficient operation of individual buildings—it is revolutionising urban-scale resource management. Participants at the conference will explore how digitalisation can be used as a strategic tool for the sustainable development of the built environment.

In addition to professional content, an innovation competition will be held across six categories, recognising the Innovator of the Year, the most promising proptech startups and scaleups, innovations in BIM and real estate lifecycle management, and the best digital customer experience.

Practical approach and professional knowledge sharing

Through practical case studies, presentations, workshops, and exhibitions, participants will gain insight into the practical applications of digitalisation, industry best practices, and achieved results. Key topics of the program include:

  • Data-Driven Urban Development: The use of Big Data and AI to optimise energy efficiency, transportation, and resource distribution.
  • Proptech Solutions: Smart buildings, sensor-based property management, and the role of digital twins in design and operations.
  • Contech and Construction Innovation: The impact of BIM, robotics, and modular construction technologies on the industry.
  • Digitalising Energy Efficiency: How IoT, smart grids, and AI contribute to optimising energy use and waste heat distribution.
  • Urban Mapping and Digital Modelling: Dynamic mapping of property usage data and energy demand.

Renowned experts on stage

This year’s PropTech Hungary Conference will once again host notable speakers. Among them: Zoltán Pogátsa, sociologist, economist, and founder of the Pogi podcast, and Luke Graham, founder of Urban Neuron, will share insights on the evolution of digital cities. Also returning is Andrew Gamblen, Head of AEC at Dalux and one of last year’s most popular speakers, presenting the latest developments in the intersection of technology and construction.

The 300-person event offers a unique platform for knowledge sharing, inspiring professional discussions, and shaping innovation in the real estate industry. Today, digitalisation and innovation are not just competitive advantages—they are essential for the long-term sustainability of real estate stakeholders. The event showcases the latest proptech and contech solutions while promoting strategic thinking for the development of future cities.
