Obermeyer Helika, one of the largest Czech engineering and construction consulting companies, is expanding its management. In the second week of January, the company appointed Jiri Kos as its new Chief Commercial Officer. 


Czech design and construction consultancy Obermeyer Helika has strengthened its management and appointed Jiri Kos as a new Chief Commercial Officer. In the new position, Jiří Kos will focus mainly on the acquisition of new projects and clients. He will also capitalise on his many years of experience working in senior positions at design and development companies, including the architectural company Chapman Taylor, where he worked for 12 years. He moves from his position as associate director to a property development and investment company.

Jiří Kos studied architecture at the Czech Technical University and during his studies, he focused on design and the practical application of the acquired knowledge. He is professionally interested in the technical and economic aspects of project preparation and the issues of negotiating and permitting buildings. In the course of his professional activity, he has participated in many successful projects. He solved the technical block of the air traffic control facility in Jeneč, co-created and brought to realisation the new face of the arrival Terminal 1 of Václav Havel Airport in Prague. Among other Prague projects in which Jiří Kos participated as a co-author and project team leader is Flow - the corner house on Wenceslas Square.
