International investment and development group AFI Europe and Czech developer Finep have announced two signed transactions adding more than 800 apartments in two different locations to the Prague rental housing market over the next three years.

The fourth tower of the mixed-use Sky Park project in downtown Bratislava has been officially approved for use, according to the schedule outlined by the investor Alro Real Estate 2 years ago.

Developer YIT Slovakia has been planning the construction of the Smartti residential project on Údernícká Street in the Petržalka part of Bratislava for some time. After several years of no news, the project is moving ahead, Yimba.sk reports. Local authorities of Petržalka city part have issued a decision on the location of the building, shifting the development towards its implementation.

Romanian developer Metav has obtained the construction permit for a new residential project in Pipera, near Bucharest, and will start the development of the project this month.

The Italian studio Stefano Boeri Architetti has been announced as the winner of the international architectural and urban planning competition opened by Penta Real Estate at the end of last year for the Chalupkova project in Bratislava. The land is located in the Mlynské nivy zone and is bordered by Košická and Chalupkova streets.

The developer WOAL, where JTRE and Cresco Real Estate are partners, has been preparing the concept of the development of the former Culture and Recreation Park in Bratislava for almost 10 years. For its part, Cresco has already received a valid decision on the location of the building earlier in 2024. The Agadu residential complex in Bratislava has entered the EIA process, Yimba.sk informs. It is replacing the brownfield and warehouse area on Agátová Street. Due to the development size, the investor Agadu, close to the construction company Hornex, has planned to execute the construction in stages.

JTRE is developing a new neighbourhood on a four-hectare area on Rohanský island in Prague 8 – Karlín, including over a thousand apartments with shops and services. The sale of the first stage has been opened.

Property developer Liebrecht & wooD has delivered a commercial building with mixed-use facilities in its villa complex based near Bucharest following an investment of €2.1 million.

Developer Penta Real Estate has made progress in the preparation of the Southbank project and entered the environmental impact assessment, reports Yimba.sk. The key owners, the developers J&T Real Estate and Penta Real Estate, are planning to build a new mixed-use zone near the Danube Embankment in Bratislava.
