Since the beginning of March, UDI Group has started demolishing industrial buildings on the Svitavské riverbank in Brno. In their place, the developer is planning to build the Urban Park residential project.

More than 1,100 units for ownership or rental housing will be created within the project. The first stage includes 236 units with a café, retail and service premises such as a laundry room, fitness center, etc. Smaller housing units will predominate, but the project also includes larger apartments. The construction of the first stage should be completed in 2027. In the future, almost 900 apartments will be built on the part of the land north of Mostecká Street. The project includes an underground parking lot with a capacity that exceeds the number required by law.

“We already have a building permit for the first stage issued. Currently, together with the company K4, we are selecting the general contractor for the construction. We have also recently selected the company Real Spektrum, which will handle sales in Brno,” explained Jakub Malý, Director at UDI Group for the Czech Republic.

The developer estimates the total investment in the Urban Park project at CZK 3.4 billion (€135 million).
