Geosan Development is moving its largest residential project to date, Re.Start Petynka, to another milestone. The residence is developed on a long-unused plot of land near the Petynka swimming pool in Prague 6. Now it has received a valid building permit.

The residential market in Bucharest and Ilfov saw a 10% drop in the number of transactions during H1 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, while sales prices have continued to climb, driven by high inflation, anticipated tax changes, and limited supply, finds a new analysis by iO Partners.

The increase in VAT to 21% for new homes is having a direct impact on pricing and sales strategies in the residential market, with effects already becoming visible, according to Valentin Neagu, Managing Director at Crosspoint Real Estate.

StudentSpace, a student housing platform, has secured PLN 177.8 million in financing from Bank Pekao S.A. to support the development of three modern student dormitories in Kraków. Construction of the Nový Rohan project has begun on Rohan Island in Prague's Karlín. For the development company J&T Real Estate, which is behind the project, this is the largest investment to date, reports e15.cz.

Resi4Rent has completed construction of its latest subscription-based rental housing development in Wrocław. Located on Grabiszyńska Street in the city’s Fabryczna district, the project adds 1653 units to the operator’s total offering in Wrocław.

Hubix has announced a strategic partnership with Fimaro Development for the development of 600 residential units in Cluj-Napoca, near the Tetarom I business park.
