AFI is registering a new trend in its AFI Home apartment portfolio in the Czech rental housing market. The demand for fully furnished apartments has been growing for some time already.
The company is responding to it and, in addition to partially furnished apartments, clients can also move into apartments in which they will find absolutely everything - from towels in the bathroom to table linens on the dining table. Simply put, for comfortable living, clients only need to move in with their personal belongings.
“More and more people today are looking for housing that allows them to move in immediately without unnecessary stress,” explains Elena Pisotchi, Rental Housing Manager at AFI, and continues: “Such tenants do not want to deal with buying dishes or bed linen. They want a ready-made solution that will save them time. We see this as a natural development in the market.”
The new trend reflects the accelerating pace of today. While it used to be common to move into an empty apartment with bare walls, apartments that are partially or fully furnished with furniture and kitchen appliances have gradually become more popular. Today's demands, however, go even further. "Tenants are looking for a combination of home comforts with hotel-level services," describes Elena Pisotchi.
The concept of fully furnished apartments or suites permeates the entire AFI Home portfolio - from Karlín to Třebešín to Kolbenova in Prague. In all residences, they also have apartments ready to move in immediately.
An example is AFI Home Kolbenova, where residents can use the Lavor self-service laundry with large-capacity washing machines and dryers or a modern coworking centre. There is also a local supermarket and a 24-hour reception, as well as facility management and maintenance.
AFI plans to incorporate the concept into future projects: currently, it involves 291 apartments, which it is implementing within the AFI Home Nová Elektra, and 519 apartments, which it is preparing in the V Korytech project.
