Panattoni has signed its latest lease with Terg, the owner of the Media Expert consumer electronics chain. The tenant is to occupy more than 12,000 sqm at Panattoni Business Center Łódź III in the city’s Widzew district, which it will be taking up in September 2020. Colliers International advised the tenant for this transaction.

From September 1st this year, the company will use the space at Panattoni Business Center Łódź III to store home electronics and household appliances destined for shops and customers across Poland. The building will act as a buffer storage facility for Media Expert’s main distribution centre in the Central European Logistics Hub, which was delivered by Panattoni in 2019. At that time, the company took up as much as 73,300 sqm to consolidate its operations.

“Looking to the future and our further development, we have to continue to improve our infrastructure and logistics operations. We want to minimise delivery times and ensure their reliability – both when it comes to online orders and for each of the almost 500 Media Expert stores throughout Poland. Our presence at Panattoni Business Center Łódź III represents the latest stage in the implementation of this programme,” explains Media Expert spokesperson Michał Mystkowski.

With the signing of this lease agreement with the owner of Media Expert, the developer has now leased the entire area of Panattoni Business Łódź Center III, i.e. 30,128 sqm. In addition to the electronics goods chain, the park also houses companies from the cosmetics packaging and TSL sectors, as well as manufacturers of protection for sensitive products during transit.

The building is situated just 3.5 km from the city centre, with easy access by tram or bus. In addition, it is only 5 km from the A1 motorway – part of the Pan-European Corridor VI – and 18 km from the A2 motorway connecting Łódź with, among others, Poznań, Warsaw and Berlin.
