MAS Real Estate has entered into an agreement with PKM Developments, a joint venture with its peer Prime Kapital, to buy a property portfolio consisting of nine shopping value centres in Romania for €112.97 million. The centres are being held by PKM Developments through three subsidiaries - PK Black, PK Indigo and PK Red.
Cushman & Wakefield in collaboration with Hodges Ward & Elliott represented Mornington Capital, an international hotel investment fund manager in the sale of Prague’s iconic Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague. The deal was signed on 20 February with the transaction price undisclosed. The new owner is a leading family-owned fund from Scandinavia. Czech-based Czech Inn Hotels remains the hotel’s operator.
Tesco has sold its department store in central Prague to Amadeus Real. Formerly named Máj, it is currently known as My. The new owner is planning a general reconstruction of the building which is planned to start in H2 2020 and last two years, local media reports.
HB Reavis marked its ambitious plans for growth in Germany by announcing two major acquisitions in Berlin and Dresden totalling 3.5 hectares. AFI Europe Romania has signed a non-binding letter of intent with Plaza Centers for the acquisition of the majority stake (75%) of the Casa Radio, located in the centre of Bucharest. The value of the offer amounts to €60 million.
Westrock, an American manufacturer of packaging for the cosmetics industry, is a new tenant in Kraków's Quattro Business Park office complex. The company has leased over 800 sqm on the first floor of Building D. Westrock's office at Quattro is scheduled to open later in October.
The Polish provider of logistics and freight forwarding services has ordered about 2,000 sqm of additional space at MLP Poznań West. Once this new space is delivered to the tenant in June next year, Hart Logistics will occupy a total of nearly 12,000 sqm. The adviser in the transaction was Profi Home, a consulting firm.
Samsung R&D Institute Poland has extended the lease agreement for its office space in Warsaw Spire. During the negotiation process, the tenant was advised by a team of experts from JLL.
