Yareal has sold two office buildings forming the Neopark campus complex in Warsaw's Mokotów district to a French fund managed by Amundi Real Estate.

GTC has decided to extend its Hungarian portfolio with the Váci Greens D office building in Budapest. The transaction is partially financed from the green bonds issued in 2020 and is in line with the Group strategy to invest in a sustainable portfolio of commercial buildings located in the CEE capitals.

The InTeFi investment group has become the majority owner of the Cassovar Business Center I building in Košice following a €30 million acquisition. The building comprises 13,500 sqm of office space and a 7,000 sqm shopping gallery.

Swedish company Heimstaden, the third-largest provider of rental housing in Europe, continues its investments in housing in the Czech Republic. The company, which bought Residomo with 42,500 apartments mainly in the Moravian-Silesian Region last year, is now expanding its portfolio with a €22.7 million acquisition in Plzeň from Czech developer Daramis.  The new assets include 226 flats and 5 non-residential premises.

Institutional investors have acquired Echo Investment's bonds with a total value of PLN 195 million. The obtained funds will be allocated to the company's development, particularly in the promising residential sector.

Hungary-based residential developer Cordia International Zrt. continues its international expansion strategy. After acquiring UK developer Blackswan last year, the company has announced the acquisition of a new office space in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, England, which will become Cordia Blackswan’s UK headquarter. The property developer is set to refurbish and move into a former branch of Lloyds bank. The historical building will not only be home to Cordia Blackswan, but it will also offer modern office and co-working spaces.

Passerinvest Group has sold the Nová Karolina Park office building in the centre of Ostrava. The new owner is locally based investment group RT TORAX Group.

In 2020, the total volume invested in land acquisitions in the Bucharest – Ilfov region reached €194 million, reflecting a 6.5% decrease compared to 2019, according to Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.  

Chariot Top Group BV, a company managed by Griffin Real Estate, has sold 4 retail parks, completing the third and the last tranche of retail assets acquisition by EPP. It is the biggest retail transaction on the Polish real estate market in terms of volume since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Management Board and the Supervisory Board of Immofinanz have decided to launch a voluntary public takeover offer to acquire a controlling interest pursuant to Section 25a of the Austrian Takeover Act for all outstanding no-par value bearer shares of S Immo not owned by the bidder.
