Croatian real estate consultancy firm Spiller Farmer has brokered the sale of a 165,000 sqm land plot in Velika Gorica, near Zagreb, to LogExpert. The new owner plans to build a modern logistics centre of 60,000 sqm on the property.
“Due to the high demand of local and international logistic companies and due to very low supply of BTR (built-to-rent) properties in the last three years, the market for warehouse space has picked up and will continue to grow for the next 2-3 years. The pandemic has increased the number of online shoppers and due to very low supply in the last 3 years, the demand for warehouse space of online retailers has increased substantially,” Patrick Franolić, Managing Director of Spiller Farmer told Property Forum.
