Belgian logistics developer Weerts Group has teamed up with Hungarian-Belgian partner RaktárAD to build a new industrial facility near the Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The park will offer almost 200,000 sqm of logistics and 37,000 sqm of mezzanine and office space. Weers Logistic Park (WLP) is the group's third project realised in Hungary.

The developer has launched construction work on Panattoni Park Tricity East III, which on completion will comprise 44,300 sqm, of which 33,600 sqm has already been leased.

As part of its large-scale development series, Raben Group has opened its new industrial facility in Dunaharaszti, a rapidly developing logistics destination near Budapest. The total value of the project is approximately €7.5 million.

MLP Group has received an Excellent rating as part of the BREEAM International New Construction Version 6.0 Shell and core assessment for two buildings at the MLP Czeladź logistics centre.

Industrial developer WDP saw a 15.2% growth of its rental income to €80.9 million in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same period of last year, while its EPRA earnings rose 18% to €62.7 million in the same period, according to a company report. 

A new industrial building has been constructed in CTPark Prague West near Prague, which holds a record 92.1% ‘BREEAM New Construction’ sustainability certification score of ‘Outstanding’, making it the ‘greenest’ industrial building in the Czech Republic. The warehouse, which was built under strict environmental measures, features a range of innovative solutions contributing to energy efficiency, as well as facilities to support local animals, abundant greenery, and a charging station for electric vehicles.

Regesta S.A., a logistics services provider, has leased nearly 36,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Tricity East V. Its new facility will enable it to cooperate with the nearby seaport, offer container handling in the Baltic Hub and the BCT, and expand its sea transport services. The tenant was represented during the transaction process by the real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

Panattoni has started the development of a third building with an area of almost 40,000 sqm in the Panattoni Park Bielsko Biała IV park. As much as 22,000 sqm is to be leased by Polmotors. The company is to employ around 1,000 people in a factory, which is to serve markets across the globe. Upon completion, the Panattoni Park Bielsko Biała IV development is to comprise three buildings with a combined area of over 100,000 sqm. The complex is almost fully commercialised.

Panattoni launched the construction of Panattoni Park Lublin IV in March. Eventually, the centre will comprise almost 55,000 sqm. The main support for the development is €32.8 million of financing from Alior Bank.

VGP has concluded a lease contract with Dachser Czech Republic for the lease of new space in VGP Park České Budějovice, situated in the Světlík commercial zone. The hall, with an area of 14,000 sqm will be tailor-made for Dachser, a leading provider of logistic services in Europe. The expected completion date and delivery of premises for use is already in October of this year. The company currently leases another hall in the park, with a total area of 9,424 sqm and with the new building will be expanding its operations at that same location.
