Damian Kołata rejoins Cushman & Wakefield as the leader of the firm’s advisory services on the industrial and logistics market in Poland and as the Head of E-Commerce CEE.

Having previously served as Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, Damian joined Fiege at the end of May 2020 as E-Commerce Operations Director Poland and Eastern Europe. Damian has more than ten years of experience in international supply chain management.

“Clients of Cushman & Wakefield will be able to draw primarily on his practical experience in warehouse optimisation in e-commerce and his logistics expertise on the broad European market. Damian will continue to drive forward the organic growth of our agency by launching new advisory services in response to the evolving needs of warehouse and logistics tenants,” said Krzysztof Misiak, Head of Cushman & Wakefield Poland.

Damian is a graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, the Poznań University of Economics and Business, and Koźmiński University in Warsaw. He began his professional career from purchase and supply management to later coordinate the cross-border movement of goods, including import and distribution logistics, and customs procedures. Next, he was responsible for the optimisation of warehouse processes, coordination of logistics operations and bringing down logistics costs on the challenging and unpredictable market of Eastern Europe. Damian was behind the concept of one of Ukraine’s first online stores and supported the opening of distribution centres for Europe’s biggest online fashion platform. Damian is also a lecturer at postgraduate studies at the Poznań University of Economics and Business focusing on the optimisation of warehousing processes and e-commerce returns management.

“The rapidly evolving industrial market is also undergoing major changes in terms of type, size and use of logistics and manufacturing space. I am looking forward to bringing my practical experience to such a great team and to leading it at this exciting time on the market. My role as Head of E-commerce in Central and Eastern Europe will be an ideal complement. This area requires a customised approach to the operating needs of tenants, a deep understanding of their growth plans and delivering additional competencies to win them over. I am confident that we will succeed,” said Damian Kołata.

The Industrial and Logistics Agency of Cushman & Wakefield Poland has 22 experts and provides a wide range of services to tenants, from the planning and administrative verification of lands, technical and sustainability support to property leasing transaction advice.
