VGP has fully let hall B at VGP Park České Budějovice. The final tenant, automotive services company Direct auto, has taken 4,200 sqm, bringing the 8,700 sqm building to full occupancy.

Hall B operates under a Small Business Unit concept, combining warehouse, production, retail and office space within a single building. The format is designed to allow small and medium-sized businesses to integrate storage, operational and sales functions under one roof. The building features a dark metal facade with extensive glazing, timber cladding elements and horizontal sunshades, and is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification as well as compliance with EU taxonomy requirements.

Direct auto will use the space to offer customers a range of automotive services, from used, nearly new and new vehicle selection through financing advice to aftersales servicing. The other three tenants in hall B are Toyota Dolák, an authorised Toyota dealer and service centre; Fitness Trade, a supplier of equipment for fitness centres and sports facilities; and Sun Construct, a company specialising in construction and renovation works.

"Opening a new branch in České Budějovice is another important step in developing the Direct auto network. We see the South Bohemian region as an area with considerable potential and we believe the new premises will allow us to be even closer to customers and offer them a more comfortable experience when choosing and caring for their vehicle," said Jáchym Kedlhans, CEO of Direct auto Park.

The České Budějovice site spans 37 hectares with direct access to motorway D3, connecting the city with Prague and neighbouring Austria. On completion, the park will comprise seven halls with a total leasable area of over 130,000 sqm. Three buildings have been completed to date, with halls C and D fully occupied by logistics company Dachser. Construction of hall E, a build-to-suit facility of approximately 51,500 sqm for pet food producer VAFO, is currently under way. The wider development also includes renovation of an existing cycle path and revitalisation of an adjacent pond to support biodiversity and water retention.
