Garbe Institutional Capital has launched a pan-European residential real estate fund with a total target investment volume (GAV) of around €800 million. The Garbe European Residential Fund (Garbe EUResi) invests in real estate developments and selectively also in properties undergoing energy rehabilitation. The investment strategy follows a "boots on the ground" approach: the fund only invests in locations where Garbe can act as a local investor through a local presence. The fund’s launch is a milestone in Garbe Institutional Capital’s move to expand into a European residential real estate platform. Garbe EUResi has already received equity commitments of €82.5 million.

Golub GetHouse has completed the sale of the site of the planned 140-foot Liberty Tower skyscraper at ul. Grzybowska in Warsaw for an undisclosed amount. The buyer is AT Capital Group of Singapore.

HANSAINVEST Real Assets has acquired Generation Park Y, the last building of the Generation Park office complex in Warsaw. The transaction volume is €285 million, which makes it the largest office sale in the history of Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE and at the same time the largest sale in the office sector in CEE in 2021. Generation Park Y is HANSAINVEST Real Assets’ fourth acquisition from Skanska.

Futureal Investment Partners has acquired the Galeria Bemowo shopping centre in Warsaw, Poland. The value of the transaction remains undisclosed. 

Ghelamco’s latest skyscraper at Warsaw UNIT has received a BREEAM certificate at the Outstanding level, the highest possible rating. This is the first certificate at this level for a high-rise building in Poland and the second one in Warsaw. The certificate was awarded based on the BREEAM International New Construction 2013 system.

CA Immo has selected international consultancy agency JLL as the exclusive agent responsible for the commercialisation of three buildings in its portfolio in Poland - Sienna Center, Bitwy Warszawskiej Business Center and Warsaw Spire C.

Skanska has started the construction of the first stage of the NU! Warszawa Wola, comprising 145 apartments. The completion of the investment is scheduled for the last quarter of 2023.

PPF Real Estate Holding has entered the Polish market with the acquisition of New City, a prime business park in Warsaw. Poland and the United States are the new commercial property markets where PPF Real Estate Holding has begun operating this year. Generation Park Y, developed by Skanska in Warsaw’s Wola district, has been awarded the LEED Core & Shell certificate at the Platinum level - an international system of building assessment for energy savings and reduction of water consumption. Consequently, it has an impact on reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
