Invesco Real Estate has completed its first mezzanine lending deal in Central Europe on behalf of Invesco Real Estate Europe Fund III – SCSp (Europe III). The €20 million loan has been secured against the BTS logistics facility in Psary (Upper Silesia, Poland), recently completed by DL Invest. 

Panattoni has begun the final construction stage of its City Logistics Kraków I urban park in the city’s Nowa Huta district. A total of 11,300 sqm is to be built with the park to expand to its final target size of 36,500 sqm.

Panattoni has begun construction work on a new Built To Own (BTO) centre for the E.G.O.-Group (E.G.O.), a supplier for household manufacturers. The construction of the manufacturing plant is to start in July this year and the completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Panattoni has completed another built-to-suit (BTS) development. US manufacturer of production line components Maxcess has opened what is now its main European manufacturing plant in Fałkowo. Through investing PLN 60 million (ca. €14 million) in this project, the company will be able to double its current workforce.

The joint venture between Partners Group and Peakside Capital Advisors has launched the construction of the C2 facility at City Point Targówek. The light industrial building will offer 25,000 sqm of space with units starting from 1,000 sqm. Depenbrock Poland is the general contractor for the project.

Panattoni has signed a lease contract for over 16,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Goleniów I with logistics operator Fiege. With this deal, the entire 60,000 sqm park has been fully commercialised.

Panattoni has launched construction work on a new centre – Panattoni Park Bieruń I. The project has an area of almost 20,000 sqm and is located near to Silesia’s main transport arteries. Already, the first tenant has been found for the centre – Sport-Shop.pl, which will occupy 13,000 sqm. The construction work is scheduled for completion in February 2025.

Panattoni has completed the commercialisation of Panattoni Park Koluszki and launched work to extend the centre by 14,000 sqm. The centre’s current tenants Kamoka and Pet Republic have taken the decision to lease the additional space.

Panattoni has reached another milestone in the development of Wrocław South Logistics Hub. As a result of a new contract, one of its current tenants – a leading e-commerce operator – is to increase the size of its leased space by an additional 125,000 sqm. After the planned expansion, the tenant will occupy 180,000 sqm, or 70 pct of the park’s eventual total area. 

More and more foreigners are moving to Poland to work in the logistics sector, which already accounts for approximately 20 per cent of all foreign nationals working in Poland. The largest groups by nationality are Ukrainians, Belarussians and Georgians. Other rapidly growing cohorts of migrant workers come from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
