Garbe Industrial Real Estate is moving ahead with expansion into new development projects in Poland. With this purpose in mind, two experts experienced in the warehouse real estate sector have been appointed as Managing Directors and local subsidiary’s members of the management board. Adrian Biesaga and Michał Stachura joined the Warsaw-based Garbe branch at the beginning of September this year.

Panattoni has completed the construction of City Logistics Warsaw IX. The centre with an area of over 13,000 sqm is situated in Targówek Fabryczny and already has its first tenants.

CTP has purchased a 140,000 sqm plot of land located within the Pomeranian Investment Centre (PCI) - an industrial park located in the vicinity of the largest container terminal on the Baltic Sea. The land acquired from the Gdańsk Economic Development Agency will be used to construct the next stage of the CTPark Gdańsk Port industrial and logistics complex.

Panattoni has been issued financing for the construction of City Logistics Warsaw Airport IV. The €17.25 million loan was granted by Santander Bank Polska.

According to the latest report by Newmark Polska, transaction volume in the Polish warehouse market in the first half of 2024 totalled more than 2.72 million sqm, up by 22.7% from the same time last year. Poland’s total warehouse and industrial stock surpassed 33.5 million sqm, a 9.5% rise year-on-year.

In the first half of 2024, revenues of the MLP Group amounted to PLN 187.7 million (€43.5 million) and the value of investment properties reached PLN 5,057 billion (€1,17 billion).

Panattoni has sold a 37,000 sqm distribution centre in Teresin (Mazovia region) that it developed for the use of Orbico Supply – an FMCG company and a distributor of cosmetics in Europe. The name of the buyer and the value of the transaction were not disclosed.

Trademarc, a company co-owned and managed by Griffin Capital Partners, has sold a 37,590 sqm Built-to-Suit (BTS) warehouse located in Teresin, west of Warsaw. The buyer and transaction amount have not been disclosed.

According to Cushman & Wakefield, the Polish industrial market saw a marked upturn in occupier activity in the second quarter of 2024, reporting the highest leasing volume in Europe. In addition, Poland’s total industrial stock is poised to soon surpass the 35 million sqm mark. 

GLP has announced that it is set to unveil its second project in Lędziny (Upper Silesia, Poland). GLP Park Lędziny II will offer 40,000 sqm of rentable space and construction is expected to take approximately eight months once initiated.
