UDI Group opens new investment fund

The international developer UDI Group has opened a fund of qualified investors. It is intended for private and institutional investors. In addition to funds or banks, large private investors can also invest in the fund. The lowest possible deposit is CZK 1 million (€40,000). In the future, the fund will also include sub-funds aimed at financing individual large projects. In the first phase, the General sub-fund is opened, which will invest in the UDI Group as a whole, and the Conservative sub-fund invests in loans for individual projects. To investors, the fund will offer appreciation in a more conservative form with a guarantee of a minimum return of 6.5% per year, with a premium return of around 15% per year expected. The status and statutes of the fund were checked and approved by the CNB.

UDI Group to expand Prague shopping centre with apartments

Developer UDI Group will launch a residential development in Prague directly opposite the Lužiny metro station. With an investment of more than CZK 1.3 billion (€52.6 million), two apartment buildings will be built here to complement the shopping centre, in line with the original plan from the 1980s.

UDI Group builds flats in Latin America

The group not only handles the entire sales transaction for the apartments but also the follow-up servicing or leasing. Construction of the 15-storey condominium in the financial district of Panama City's capital is expected to be completed in 2026.

UDI Group completes logistics park in Central Bohemia

UDI Group has opened the fully completed Sázava Logistics Park on the D1 motorway near Ostředek in the Central Bohemia Region. The construction of the complex, which offers 50,000 sqm of space, required an investment of CZK 1 billion (€42 million). Approximately 300 employees have found work in four plants. The group is currently building another similar facility, which will offer 130,000 sqm of space in three halls. The investment is worth CZK 3 billion (€126 million).

Czech UDI Group starts to build more apartments in Warsaw

Czech developer UDI Group has started construction of more apartments in the Polish capital. As part of the Classic Ursus project, it has now started construction of the second phase, in which it will build a total of 272 apartments in two apartment buildings. The phase also includes a challenging reconstruction of the listed original entrance building to the Ursus factory. A total of 960 apartments will be built in the Classic Ursus project in Warsaw under the Czech developer's management for a total cost of CZK 2.8 billion (€117.7 million).

UDI Group to invest CZK 3 billion in Brno

The UDI Group has acquired an industrial site in Brno in January, which it will operate for the time being while preparing for future redevelopment. At the moment, the plan is to build offices and hotel-type accommodations. If the city changes the zoning plan, as it seeks to do, the developer's final project may change to reflect this.  Construction would be done in phases, with the first phase to begin within two years. The developer announced the acquisition without disclosing the transaction price.

Czech UDI Group to build 2300 flats in Belgrade

UDI Group, an international development group with Czech roots, is planning a massive construction in Belgrade, Serbia. It plans to build the Duga project with 2,320 apartments and 40,000 sqm of offices on the site of a former factory for almost €392 million. Construction is expected to start next year, UDI Group reported.

New leases

  • Sanofi Romania is relocating its HQ to Bucharest-based Equilibrium 2 office building, developed by Skanska. The company will occupy the 9th floor of the building starting June 2026.
  • ConvergenCE has signed a long-term agreement with Etalon-Informatika Kft., which will set up its new office in the Budapest-based CityZen project on an area of nearly 700 sqm. The company is expected to move in during 2026.
  • Kanał Sportowy, one of Poland’s leading sports media platforms, and Zdrofit, the country’s largest fitness club chain, will continue their presence at Konstruktorska Business Center in Warsaw. Kanał Sportowy will maintain its lease of 512 sqm, while Zdrofit will continue to occupy 1,000 sqm.

New appointments

  • Daniel Orczyk has been named Senior Project Manager at the technical advisory department of Avison Young in Poland. He is a licensed structural engineer and building site manager with over 20 years of experience.
  • Łukasz Meisner has joined Peakside Capital Advisors as Head of Project Management. He will be responsible for the management of Peakside's investment projects in Poland, including overseeing the implementation of key investments within the City Point, Urban Parks, and Peakside Industrial logistics platforms.
  • Peakside Capital Advisors is strengthening its Polish structure, expanding its expertise in investment management and development project execution. Łukasz Meisner has joined the team as Head of Project Management. He will be responsible for the comprehensive management of Peakside's investment projects in Poland, including overseeing the implementation of key investments within the City Point, Urban Parks, and Peakside Industrial logistics platforms.
