Galardia Shopping Center in Starachowice (Central Poland), developed from a greenfield by Stage Capital and Sierra Balmain, has a new owner – Future Estate. The agreement finalizing the transaction was signed on September 26, 2024. Avison Young's investment team represented the seller as the exclusive sales agent. The price has not been disclosed. 

Property manager Sierra Balmain has taken leasing and administration roles for the second owner of Osowa Shopping Center in Gdańsk. 

Aleksandra Mazzini, COO of Sierra Balmain Asset Management, talked to Property Forum about the current popularity of retail parks, the ongoing transformation of the retail sector and the point, where ESG and AI meet together.

On May 1st, Sierra Balmain assumed management of the Power Park Opole shopping centre. The company will be responsible for both technical and commercial property management.

Sierra Balmain is expanding its portfolio with another shopping mall. Starting in April, the company will take over property management of Galeria Pomorska in Bydgoszcz. The group will handle all the ongoing operations of the facility.

Sierra Balmain has published its first ESG report. Among its achievements, the company highlights e.g., reducing electricity consumption by 40% in managed facilities, implementing projects designed to benefit local communities, as well as an effective equal opportunities policy in its own organization.

Sierra Balmain has been appointed by Stage Capital to provide property management and leasing services for three shopping centres in Poland: Galeria nad Jeziorem in Konin, Pasaż Łódzki in Łódź and CH Osowa in Gdańsk. The agreements include all aspects related to the management of each location, including, operational management, property-related finance matters, lease management, leasing and marketing. These three mandates add to a successful management partnership with Stage Capital, which already included Centrum Galardia in Starachowice.

One of the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Poznan, managed by Sierra Balmain, was sold to a new investor. The agreement finalizing the transaction was signed on September 22, 2021.
