One of the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Poznan, managed by Sierra Balmain, was sold to a new investor. The agreement finalizing the transaction was signed on September 22, 2021.
The new owner, an independent European investment manager, will take over Galeria Malta in the fourth quarter of this year. Onyx Asset Management will take on the management of the centre.
"While working on the strategy for Galeria Malta, the key was its unique location as well as being a special place for Poznań residents. We have successfully expanded the range of services and attractions offered in this place, and we have also opened the centre up for cooperation with new partners", said Aleksandra Mazzini, the COO of Sierra Balmain
The 54,000 sqm Galeria Malta features such fashion brands as TK Maxx, H&M and New Yorker. As well as a range of other services and restaurants, it also offers a selfie museum, a go-kart track, a squash club, an escape room, temporary artistic and educational exhibitions, music, dance and sports events, conferences and workshops.
